RAWALPINDI-
Aerial strikes by Pakistan Military jets on Tuesday killed at least 19 terrorists, according to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the statement, the jets targeted militant hideouts in Dandi Kachkol, Gurbaz and Mana areas in North Waziristan.
Air strikes, artillery, mortars and ground troops have been used to retrieve control of territories in North Waziristan which had become safe havens for banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other militant outfits.
Pakistan army says it has killed more than a thousand militants and lost 86 soldiers since the start of the operation but the claims cannot be independently verified as the access of media is restricted in the region.
