PM leaves for New York for UN session

ISLAMABAD-

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, accompanied by a  delegation, is leaving for New York on Tuesday to attend United Nations General Assembly session.

The Prime Minister will also co-chair UN Peacekeeping Summit along with US Vice President Joe Biden and a few other world leaders.

On the sidelines of the United National General Assembly, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with other leader.

He is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly session on September 26.

According to an official spokesman, around 10 journalists from private media will accompany the prime minister during the visit.

The total expenditure of the visit of journalists will be sponsored by their respective organizations.
