Fawad Afzal Khan starring in his Disney, Bollywood debut film “Khoobsurat” has dedicated the film to the cancer patients under treatment at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
A special screening ensued on Monday at Super Cinema, Vogue Tower in Lahore where various artists from different disciplines of life were invited to be a part of the occasion. Popular distinguished guests belonging to the showbiz industry such as, Vaneeza Ahmed, Bilal Lashari, and Ahmed Ali Butt were present. Other eminent musicians, such as Ali Zafar, Farhad Humayun, and Atif Aslam and renowned corporate and social sector individuals, for instance Mr. Usman Khalid and Sarosh Butt, Mr. Kamran Lashari and Ms. Salima Hashmi were part of the event, to show support for the forthcoming success of Fawad Khan, following his Bollywood success after the release of the film worldwide.

Fawad himself was present at the red carpet event. He shared that his experience in India as an overwhelming one, where the audience received him with nothing but kindness and a positive response to his acting abilities in the film. He described his experience at working in India next to co star Sonam Kapoor as nothing short of working with family.
“So far it’s been great. I have received a lot of love and affection amongst those who appreciate my work. And there is no fuss about my being a Pakistani. They express their feelings about me as one of their own.”
The film released on Friday, 19th September, has been a global success and was received with a phenomenal response from both the Indian audience and the local one, owing to the consideration that Fawad Khan is already considered a celebrity in India, due to his critically acclaimed performance in the tv series “Zindagi Gulzar Hai”. Famous Bollywood celebrities such as Aamir Khan, and Anu Malik have personally appreciated Fawad’s work in India. Fawad Khan believes that working across the border will bring back a lot of learning for the local film industry in a lot of ways.
India loves Fawad because he is such a natural actor combined with lethal good looks. Whats even more attractive about him is that all the praise does not seem to go to his head at all. He is very genuine and level headed. We want to see him being involved in great cinema in India. What a great actor and a polished individual.
Please don’t just use India in whatever opinion you want to make. You and others like you may like him, but it is not just you that India is. Stop imposing your opinion on all indians. It is like saying all Indian women are ugly. How do you like my opinion of generalisation.
Khoobsoorat is a very average film and does no justice to Fawad's acting abilities . Fawad was super duper brilliant in ZGH . Infact everything about that series was brilliant .I think Fawad should concentrate in doing movies that bring out the actor in him , be that in India or in Pakistan and not concentrate on average work .
i see indian average actors behave like arrogant super stars and pretend what they are not but fawad is very realistic and humble person. he is not much ambitious and dont carried away with fame and other things and these qualities make him really beautiful beyond his looks.
Fawad is charismatic actor of Pakistan, Comparing him with inidia actors is utter stupidity. Indian acting abilities are no match for Fawad. Comparing him with them is just a stupidity

There is something in this MAN !!!! I dont know what it is which doesnt let your eyes take off from him . Sometimes he looks very average (There are HANDSOME people on the planet and beauty has no limits) but his VOICE !!! The way he speaks !!! No arrogance at all !!! His personality ! UFF !!! He is a complete package with looks , voice and personality !! Never saw such a humble celebrity in my lifetime . Pakistan is lucky to have him and Pakistan should be proud of him (I am sure they are ) . One can not ignore him the crowd either . Very mysterious !!!!

Ya Ali ! You should be proud of him , He deserves it . His shows have changed our perception towards Pakistan . We were not aware that across the border there is a flourishing culture with beautiful hearts 🙂 Personally i am obsessed with your country and i want to see Lahore and Karachi through my eyes but unfortunately common man doesn't have such authority , still i hope to go there someday . Don’t just get carried away, its the money that matters, let’s wait and watch, there are so many actors who came, saw and never conquered. So just wait and don’t compare him with established actors. It is the mentality of Pakistanis. If he is so good, why do you want him to be in India and why not improve your film industry. Be practical.
