Tarnol police on Tuesday conducted raid at gambling den and arrested five gamblers besides recovering stake money, computers, faxes and electronic equipment from them, a police spokesman said.
On a tip off, SP (Saddar) Muhammad Ilyas constituted special team under supervision of ASI Zafar Iqbal which raided at a shop in Mughal Market area and apprehended five gamblers who were later identified as Ayub, Imran, Asmat Khan, Iqbal Haider and Abdul Manan. Police recovered stake money, CPU, printers, computers and other electronic equipment from them.
Case has been registered against these nabbed gamblers and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Asmat Ullah Junejo has appreciated this performance of Tarnol police team and further directed to ensure effective policing measures. NNI
