Bahria Town has initiated a flood relief program for the flood affected areas of Rawalpindi, specifically Christian neighbourhoods including Sharoon Colony, Doctor Colony, Malik Town and the areas situated along the bank of the Soan River.
A relief camp has been set and Bahria Dastarkhwan has been operational since 5th September, feeding fresh meals, twice a day to the flood affected people. BahriaTown medical staff is also present and is working relentlessly to provide all kinds of free medical treatments. More than 150 people were given relief packages, which included beds, kitchen utensils and clothing for men women and children. A special ceremony was held for the distribution of flood relief packages amongst the people, which included beds, kitchen utensils and clothing for men women and children. Bahria town VCELand, Haji Amjad Mahmood Ch was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
