At least twenty three terrorists were killed in Pakistan Army’s ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation against terrorists in North Waziristan on Monday.

According to the ISPR, the terrorists were killed in Ghulam Khan area of Bangidar during aerial strikes on terrorist hideouts.

Pakistan began the long-awaited push to clear the militant’s bases from North Waziristan Agency in June.

Air strikes, artilleries, mortars and ground troops have been used to retrieve control of territories in North Waziristan which had become safe havens for banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other militant outfits.

Pakistan army says it has killed more than a thousand militants and lost 86 soldiers since the start of the operation but the claims cannot be independently verified as the access of media is restricted in the region.
