Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Sunday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should tell the nation about the revolution his party’s government had brought in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) during last 14 months.

The minister, in a statement, said Khan should read the letter of KP Chief Secretary Arbab Shahzad about the provincial government which was enough for him to feel ashamed. He said Khan had given the impression to the world community that Pakistan was a lawless state.

It was strange that Khan did not pay the electricity bill, but preached for rule of law, he added.

Rashid said Khan hatched a conspiracy to divert attention from operation Zarb-e-Azb and devastation caused by the recent flood. He said due to Khan’s antics, heads of friendly countries were hesitating to visit Pakistan. He said Khan should also tell the nation about the London meeting with Qadri where the plan was prepared to derail democracy, while he continued telling the nation that he did not meet the PAT chief there.
