While congratulation Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan for holding public gathering in Karachi, Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said Khan was his guest in the city.
Addressing a gathering in London on the occasion of his 61st birth anniversary, the MQM chief said his party would also welcome Nawaz Sharif and Isfandyar Wali if they make it to Karachi.
He reiterated that MQM did not want division of Sindh. However, if the province was carved out to North, West and South Sindh, then it would be helpful for the people of province, he added. “New provinces should be formed across the country and not in some parts.”
If Pakistan, Altaf said, had to be saved then formation of new provinces was inevitable. He said the MQM not only raised voices against feudal system, but also translated its words into action and sent middle-class representatives to the assemblies.
