Sheikh Rashid diagnoses Shahbaz with ‘Imran-o-phobia’

Awami Muslim League (AML) Chairman Sheikh Rashid has said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif spends more time bashing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan than helping victims of the flash floods that have drowned hundreds and displaced thousands in the province.

“Shahbaz is suffering from Imran-o-phobia. Khan, who is the ultimate political nemesis of the Sharifs, is on always on Shahbaz’s mind. The CM and his prime minister brother know that their time is up,” said Rashid, while talking to a private news channel.

The top PTI ally Rashid, whose wild political prophecies have earned him quite a following, reiterated that he was seeing 2015 as the election year.

“I am afraid Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will not be able to see his term through. It’s a given. New general elections will be held next year. The rest is history,” said Rashid, who co-led the anti-government long march with Khan.

He said Khan would not go home without first sending Nawaz packing.

Rashid, in a sweeping statement dubbed the ruling parliamentarians as the product of military dictatorship.

“They are all the beneficiaries of junta rule. Democracy is an alien concept for them,” he said.
