National Assembly (NA) Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah said Saturday that he would quit politics if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan proves the corruption allegations hurled at Shah while adding that he would file a case in court against the PTI chief if he fails to prove the allegations.

“Khan will have to publically apologise to me if he is unable to prove the allegations,” said Shah.

“I am giving three-days-time to prove corruption charges against me otherwise I will move court,” said Shah, while talking to a private news channel.

Addressing the participants of PTI’s sit-in in Islamabad, the PTI chief had leveled allegations of corruption against Shah whereas Awami Muslim League Chairman Sheikh Rasheed had dubbed Shah as an “electricity meter reader”. Rasheed had also alleged that the PPP senior leader had made billions of rupees through corrupt means.

“Khursheed Shah is no different than Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,” Rasheed had claimed while talking to a private television channel.
