On the direction of the deputy inspector general (DIG) Operations, all the divisional superintendent of police (SPs) arranged open courts in mosques located in their premises on Friday. Iqbal Town SP Ammara Athar arranged an open court along with Gulshan-e-Ravi DSP Rana Ghulam Abbas in the mosque of Gulshan-e-Ravi and Race Course DSP Safdar Raza Kazmi arranged an open court in a mosque located in Ghari Shahu. These open courts were arranged on the directions of DIG operations Dr Haider Ashraf. Iqbal Town SP Ammara Athar issued the directions on the spot after hearing the complaints of applicants in open court and she said that any applicant can contact directly in case of any complaint and her office is always open for the applicants. Similarly, Race Course DSP Safdar Raza Kazmi arranged an open court in Ghari Shahu Jamia Masjid and issued the directions on the spot. The people can participate in open courts and give their applications to senior police officers directly who were not entertained in the police stations.
