A local court has acquitted National Assembly Member (MNA) from Muzaffargarh Jamshed Dasti along with his companions due to lack of evidences on Friday.
Dasti presented himself, along with his 10 aides, to the police for arrest at City Police Station on Thursday after a case was registered against him and over 200 others on September 16 for allegedly attacking policemen as a scuffle broke out between his people and protesters in Muzaffargarh district on September 15.
The case was registered under sections 148, 149, 186, 324, 353, 359 and anti-terrorism act.
