Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Sukkur Barrage on Friday to review flood situation and losses caused by the flood in Sindh.
He was briefed by the Sindh chief secretary and irrigation secretary about the losses caused by the flood and relief measures taken for the flood-affected people.
The prime minister was told that 251 villages of Katcha areas of Sindh have been affected by the flood. He was told that around 87,585 were affected by the flood in Sindh and 146,625 acres of land was inundated.
