Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday claimed that the general elections 2013 were rigged throughout the country against his party, adding that he will present evidence in a public rally on October 18.
“We’ll demonstrate how elections were rigged against PPP on October 18,” he said.
Addressing reporters after overseeing flood relief efforts in Multan, Bilawal said that Punjab is drowning in floods and some forces are furthering their agenda by taking advantage of the situation.
“Punjab is drowning and some people are hatching conspiracy to drown Islamabad,” he said.
PPP chairman appealed all political forces to forget their differences and help the flood affectees. “This is the time to become one nation and not to politick,” he said.
Bilawal reiterated his stance against division of provinces into administrative units by saying “marsoon marsoon Sindh na desoon” meaning “We will die but will not let go Sindh”. Bilawal repeated the same slogan for other provinces and administrative unites including Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
