The JUI-F chief said it is being said from containers that if the government and other institutions want to extend help to flood victims and IDPs, they would not become a hurdle. He said in case of affectees, be they of war or earthquakes, a campaign is launched under the government to extend them maximum assistance. He pointed out that during earthquake in Hazara, people took relief trucks from Karachi for the help of their brethrens. However, he said it did not happen this time.

Fazl said whenever action is taken against those at the sit-ins, a campaign is launched over the media that the third force could step in. He said their JUI’s patriotism is not less than anyone else. He said people are being killed on linguistic and sectarian basis and blamed the state institutions that instead of controlling the situation, they are more interested in encouraging them.

Fazl said as part of the international agenda, Islamists have been presented as terrorists and they were confronting this situation.
