An award giving ceremony under the auspices of Hashoo Foundation (HF) was held in Islamabad to honour the associates of Higher Education Commission (HEC) who completed a Basic Hospitality Skills Training from the experts of Hashoo Foundation.
The event celebrated the efforts of high achieving associates of HEC and acknowledged the corporate sector’s role in facilitating their practical training. The training program was held as a part of HEC’s commitment to staff development.
The foundation trained the employees of HEC within its Hospitality Management Training Program (HMTP) for professionals. HMTP is an integral part of Hashoo Foundation’s Skills Development Program. The training program provides comprehensive theoretical and practical training as per organizational needs given by professional trainers affiliated with reputed hotels such as Pearl Continental and the Marriott, Islamabad.
The event was graced by senior dignitaries including the HEC Executive Director Prof Dr Mansoor Akbar Kundi and Hashoo Foundation Country Director Ali Akbar. The event involved inspirational speeches from trainees of the Hospitality Program expressing how they believed this training will help to instil greater professionalism in their workplace.
