Minister of State for Capital Administration & Development Division (CADD) Barrister Usman Ibrahim Monday directed the officials to “immediately” resolve the issues pertaining to funds, staff salary, recruitment of human resources and civil work.
Chairing a meeting of PSDP regarding the development schemes/projects at CADD, the state minister reviewed the performance of ongoing projects along with the feasibility reports of new and upcoming projects of PIMS, FGPC, FDE and Population Welfare. He also took notice of the relevant issues like financial and human resource issues of these institutions.
Moreover, Ibrahim said that a clear and approved recruitment policy should be implemented for any new hiring.
Talking about the issues related to PIMS, Ibrahim said that the issues related to the construction of the two hostels; one for female doctors and another for nurses, should be fixed as soon as possible, as these projects are going to be completed soon.
Planning Commission had some reservation about PWD work and escalation cost of these projects, so minister of state stressed that all the issues of PIMS and FGPC related to the PWD should be taken up as soon as possible.
Moreover, he said that the recruitment of human resources and procurement of equipments should be done simultaneously in order to properly utilize the time and resources at hand.
