Two people claiming to be mujahideen were arrested Saturday following a dispute with the prayer leader of a mosque in Dera Ismail (DI) Khan who refused to allow them to raise funds for jihad.
Per details, two men came to a mosque in Farooq-e-Azam Town Ratta Kalachi area of DI Khan before Asr prayers with a receipt book and sought permission to raise funds for jihad.
The prayer leader and another person Manzoor Ahmed present in the mosque at that time did not permit them to collect funds, leading to an exchange of harsh words. The two visitors, claiming to be mujahideen, threatened the prayer leader of dire consequences for forbidding them to collect funds.
Police have arrested the two ‘mujahideen’, registered a case and started investigation.
