During the last few months I have been keenly and regularly (though not very willingly) listening to the political news, especially the speeches and statements of political leaders. While I myself am not at all known for my prowess in English language, I find that our political leaders while very interested in mixing English terms/words in their expressions are invariably using the word ‘resign’ as a noun, as if rewriting the English dictionary in Parliament.
