Provincial Minister for Information and Local Government Sharjeel Innam Memon has directed all the local bodies to make a detailed contingency plan of cleanliness and lifting of offal during the three days of Eidul Azha and submit the same for his approval.
Issuing directives to the local bodies, he said a detailed list of garbage lifting vehicles/refuse vehicles available with them. “I want the reasons of the vehicles off the road, therefore a separate column may be included,” he directed
The minister also directed the local bodies of Karachi to provide him a detailed report on the cleanliness/excavation of the storm water drains/nalas within three days. It may be noted that the KMC had launched cleanliness drive of nalas recently.
