Qureshi invites Mumtaz Bhutto to join PTI

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Saturday that Sindh was ready for the change.

Qureshi, who has arrived Larkana, held a meeting with former chief minister of Sindh and estranged PML-N leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.

The PTI’s central leader held talks with Mumtaz Bhutto and gave a message of Imran Khan to him inviting him to join the PTI.

Mumtaz Bhutto complained that ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had let down him and didn’t comply with the promises made with him before the elections.

Talking to media, Qureshi said Sindh had been prepared for the change and the PTI would redress all injustices with Sindh.

The two leaders in an hour-long meeting exchanged views over the political situation of the country. Qureshi also paid homage at the tomb of former Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana.

“The PPP workers are disappointed in Punjab and Sindh because the party has left the mission of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who was the real leader of PPP,” Qureshi said.

“We are struggling for democracy and our demands are within the constitution,” he said.
