At least five people were killed and eight others injured as roofs of two houses collapsed due to rain on Sunday morning.
Rescue sources said that roofs of two mud houses located in village Abdullahpur of Hafizabad caved in as the area received rain on late Saturday night. As a result of roof collapses five people were killed on the spot while eight others sustained wounds.
Rescue personnel and local people pulled out the bodies and injured from the debris of the two houses and shifted them to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
