Punjab govt rejects KP govt’s aid for flood affectees



Punjab Government has rejected a Rs100 million aid offered by the Khyber Pakhtukhwa goverment for the rescue and relief works in flood-hit area of Punjab, a private news channel reported.

Spokesman for KP government, Mushtaq Ghani confirmed the report and added that the aid was offered by the flood affectees of the province and rejecting it will create a sense of resentment between the two provinces.

Ghani also stated that KP government would now follow the same suit and reject any aid offered by Punjab Government.
