Violence devours six more

As many as six people, including two women, were killed and two others injured in different violence incidents in the city on Thursday.

Luqman Kazmi, 32, son of Syed Abdul Ghafar, was shot dead by unknown armed men in FB area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy.

Ghulam Rasool Rajpar, SHO Iqbal Town, informed that a person, Ali, 52, was shot dead by unknown armed men at Rehmat Chowk in Orangi Town. He said Ali was sitting on a shop where he was targeted. The motive behind the incident could not be ascertained yet. The body was shifted to ASH for autopsy.

A 30-year-old man, identified as Ikram Shah, was killed in a firing incident in Ghazi Abad, Orangi Town. The body was shifted to ASH for a post-mortem examination.

Muhammad Ali, 50, was killed by unknown armed men near Rehmat Chowk in Oranhi Town No 11. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.

A drowned body of woman was recovered from Keamari Navy Jatti No 1. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained yet.

Rani, 34, wife of Iqbal, was stabbed to death by unknown persons at Sherabad in Landhi 36-C area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a post-mortem examination.

Hafizullah, 35, son of Abdullah Jan, was shot and injured by unknown armed near Punjab Factory Garden. He was shifted to CHK for treatment.

Separately, Sajjad, 34, son of Imran, was shot at and injured by unknown armed men near German School in Orangi Town. The injured was shifted to ASH for treatment.
