Rescue work continues as water level continue to rise in Chenab river

Water level surged in dykes due to flood in river Chenab as Pakistan Army continued its rescue and relief activities in flood affected areas of Punjab, a private news channel reported.

According to local administration in Multan, the flood had affected more than 100,000 people, submerging dozens of villages.

Besides army, other civil organizations are also working  to help the flood victims.
