Despite the ongoing anti-dengue campaign, three more cases of dengue virus have been confirmed in Gawalmandi area adjacent to cantonment in Rawalpindi.
According to authorities due to heavy factories and other trading activities in residential areas of Gawalmandi, stagnant water on streets and the poor sanitation system in thickly populated streets has increased the chances of vital diseases.
Two dengue cases were confirmed during vacations of Eidul Fitr, who were later shifted to BenazirBhuttoHospital while another case has also confirmed in a young boy Tayyab who has been shifted to Holy family hospital.
