RAWALPINDI-

Three more dengue cases have been confirmed in Gawalmandi area of the city.

The cases were confirmed in Gawalmandi area adjacent to Cantonment areas.

According to authorities, due to factories and other trading activities in residential areas of Gawalmandi, stagnant water on streets and the poor sanitation system in the thickly populated streets has increased the chances of dengue.

Two dengue cases were confirmed during vacations of Eid-ul-Fitr, who were later shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital while another case was confirmed and shifted to Holy family hospital.
