ISLAMABAD-
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held an important consultative meeting today with his close aides to discuss ongoing dialogue process with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) who are staging sit-ins in capital’s red zone seeking resignation from the prime minister over alleged rigging in last year’s general elections.
Members of the government-backed negotiating teams and key ministers, namely Ishaq Dar, Zahid Hamid, Choudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Saad Rafique and Abdul QadirBaloch attended the meeting.
During the meeting a strategy was also devised to end the political impasse.
