The Met Office has forecast rain in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Rawalpindi division in the next 24 hours.
According to the Met Office, a well marked low pressure area over southwest Madhya Pradesh (India) and adjoining north Madhya Maharashtra persists. The weather system is likely to move north-north westwards and weaken into a low-pressure area during the next 24 to 48 hours.
Rain and thundershowers are expected at isolated places in upper Punjab (Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions) whereas hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
In the provincial capital, maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degree Celsius on Tuesday.
