Rawalpindi district coordination officer (DCO) has directed Rawalpindi city police officer (CPO) to step up security measures in all churches in the district besides deploying police guards therein.
The DCO has issued these directives on an application filed by Jibran Gul, member of Interfaith Peace committee whereby he had brought to the notice of the DCO that no security arrangements were present in the churches located in the district and due to lack of security measures these churches have become security risk.
