Unidentified armed men gunned down two women and injured two others on Sunday.
Police said that unidentified accused barged into a house in Baghbanpura and opened indiscriminate fire at the residents.
As a result, two women were killed on the spot while two persons sustained wounds.
The assailants managed to escape after committing dual murder. The bodies and injured were shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police said the shooting incident seems to be outcome of personal enmity, however, a case has been registered against unidentified accused and investigation was in progress.
