Rulers are not going to quit playing double games and a conspiracy is being hatched to defame the popular and respectable Pakistan Army, said Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi while talking to journalists after meeting first with Peoples Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and then with Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
Shujat said that the whole nation was witnessing what was happening. On being asked that the federal ministers were saying that the sit-in (dharna) could be finished through action in five minutes, he said then let it come , they may even take 10 minutes, if action was to be taken then why talk about negotiations?
Elahi said that the rulers had adopted all tactics to fail Inqilab and Azadi March, reports have come according to which straight bullets were fired at people marching towards the Prime Minister house like Model Town tragedy.
He said that the police had forcibly lifted injured workers from the hospitals and the number of martyrs was being hidden.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ministers use harsh language against the protesters and then also come for negotiations, he added.
He said like the Model Town tragedy, FIR of the murdered persons was also not being registered in Islamabad and the workers were being arrested and detained.
He further said that the entire responsibility for deterioration of situation was on the rulers but they were trying in vain to level false allegations on others and acquit themselves.
