Former CIA chief General Michael Hayden has said that Pakistan’s armed forces deserve to be applauded for the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation against terrorists in North Waziristan Agency.
In an exclusive interview, Ex-CIA chief said that Pakistan army’s offensive against terrorists is a difficult mission but the country’s soldiers have all the capability to accomplish the task.
He opined that if Pakistan and Afghanistan jointly operate against militants, US may find a reason for stay in Afghanistan adding that safe havens of terrorists are still present in bordering areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan and the two countries should co-operate with allied forces in Afghanistan.
Former CIA chief revealed that US wants to start development projects in tribal areas of Pakistan.
