Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a woman involved in human trafficking while trying to flee abroad at the Allama Iqbal International Airport on Saturday.
FIA Deputy Director Chaudhry Ahmed Mehmood told journalists that Amtil Shafi, whose name has been placed at exit control list (ECL), was attempting to fly abroad.
However, during investigation at the airport, FIA detained the accused.
The nabbed human trafficker woman was shifted to Lahore Anti-human Trafficking Cell for further investigation.
