Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Saturday arrived in Mir Ali town of North Waziristan to observe 48th Defence Day with troops engaged in Operation Zarb-e-Azb, according to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Defence Day of Pakistan is celebrated on 6th September every year in Pakistan to commemorate the sacrifices given by the armed forces during 1956 war with India.
This goes to show General Raheel is not related to the other Sharif's, whilst they are chilling in Rai Wind Palace!!!! The General is encouraging and supporting his troops.
