LAHORE-
High Flood levels are feared in River Chenab at Marala Headworks, with the total water flow of 472,000 cusecs at present.
The District Administration has issued flood warning and local people are being evacuated from the sensitive areas.
Pakistan Army has already been called in to assist the district administration in Sialkot and Narowal areas.
Meanwhile, according to Flood Warning Centre in Lahore, a high flood level is being witnessed at Qadirabad Headworks at Hafizabad at present, with the water flow of 272,000 cusecs, which may rise up to 500,000 cusecs tonight.
Flood Emergency has been declared in the area and all employees on leave have been called back.
