Beauty salon business on the rise in federal capital as PTI, PAT protesters camp in capital

Beauty salons in the federal city are getting rush of customers due to activities of sit-ins of PAT and PTI led by Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan.

Women visit parlours for facials, haircuts, hair styles and hair dyeing, and also to get their hands and feet treatment.

Fareeha, a beautician at Aabpara said, “Although there are not much cultural activities in the town due to these sit-ins and Dharnaas but we had to arrange some extra staff to meet the needs of the customers”.

“To join the festivities of PTI Dharnaa, every woman wants to look more fresh and elegant as they expect to be seen on the TV channels and some media exposure, she told.

Not only women, but now men also rush to parlours for better and fresh look come to salons for facial and hair-cutting, she added.

Another beautician, Rabia at Jinnah Super said,” Our peak season starts as Eid is followed by wedding season and these are the days when we are not free even for few minutes, but even the Eid has passed but still our salon is crowded with customers, who try to look fresh for the evening activities of PTI sit-in.
