Wattoo doesn’t like what PTI, PAT did at PTV

Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab President Manzoor Wattoo has condemned the ransacking of the Pakistan Television (PTV), Islamabad by the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers terming it anti-state, anti-constitution and anti-democracy activity.

He said that the workers of the PTI and PAT had damaged the cause of their parties grievously who had been projecting as the victim of the state violence.

He observed that it was not difficult to identify the culprits because the footage of the miscreants was available and these elements should be given exemplary punishment and the parties should expel them from their fold as a damage control measure.

Wattoo said that the attack on the PTV building will continue to haunt heavily politically to the parties of the culprits for the unforeseeable future to the parties whose workers attacked the state television building.

Wattoo said that the state buildings like the Parliament, President House, Prime Minister House, and Supreme Court were the symbol of country’s prestige and dignity and it was imperative upon all to uphold their sanctity.

Belittling the sanctity of these national buildings tantamount to anti-state, anti-constitution and anti-democracy activity, he observed.
