*Rain lashes city, more likely
Heavy rain lashed the provincial capital and adjacent areas on Monday morning making the weather pleasant and bringing down the temperature to 26 degree celsius.
According to local Met office, a weather system known as low pressure area has developed over northwest Bay of Bengal that is likely to move westward in the coming days. Under the influence of this weather system, monsoon currents will start to penetrate in Pakistan in next couple of days. Widespread rain/thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls is expected in the province during next 48 hours.
Met expert informed that two to three weather systems are expected to develop in the Bay of Bengal during the coming two weeks that may strengthen the monsoon in the region, including Pakistan.
