Black coats strike against PTI, PAT attack on PM House

Lawyers of Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday observed a strike against attack on Prime Minister House, President House and Parliament House by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) protestors and police attack on journalists.

On the call of Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) and Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the lawyers in IHC boycotted court proceedings against yesterday’s attack on state buildings by PTI and PAT protestors.

The lawyers did not attend case hearings in any of the court. The lawyers claimed that they would take to the streets if any unconstitutional or unlawful steps are taken in Islamabad.

Several cases have been postponed without any court proceedings as the lawyers stayed away from the courts. All those waiting for the case hearings are suffering a great deal.

PTI, PAT WORKERS DENOUNCED:

The residents of federal capital Monday condemned Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers for attacking the national institutions and damaging the public properties.

Employees of Pakistan Secretariat condemned the attack of PTI, PAT workers on buildings in the Red Zone Area and alleged that their motorbikes and vehicles were also damaged by the activists of both the parties.

The employees said that both the parties claiming to be peaceful but the protesters damaged their vehicles and motorbikes which is a big loss for them.

Ahmed Ali, an employee at Secretariat, said that the workers of PAT and PTI pelted stones on them while going to office.

Another employee Suhail Ahmed said that the workers of PAT and PTI were carrying stones and sticks, adding that damaging the vehicles of employees are injustice.
