Two persons were killed and two others injured in Karachi violence on Tuesday.
According to the PS Saeedabad SHO and rescue sources, unknown accused opened fire on a Shehzor truck No KQ-2193 of K-Electric near Grid Station at Saeedabad Sector 8/B. Resultantly, driver Shabir, 45, son of Piyare Khan, was killed while Ashfaq, 35, son of Mohammad Khan and Ubaid, 40, were injured. Killed and injured were employees of K-Electric.
The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-formalities and treatment respectively. In a separate incident, unknown motorcyclist shot dead a man, Raja alias Amanullah, 45, son of Ahmedullah at Ghous Pak Road, Korangi and escaped.
He was going to drop children at school when he was killed. The motive behind the incident could not be ascertained yet. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for autopsy.
