ISLAMABAD-
Supreme Court of Pakistan has offered to mediate between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek, a private news channel reported.
Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk made the offer during a hearing of petitions against possible unconstitutional measures in the wake of the crisis.
“The Supreme Court is ready to resolve this crisis as a final mediator,” the chief justice said.
The apex court has given PTI and PAT lawyers an hour to discuss the offer with party leadership.
