ISLAMABAD-
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leaders have appealed to supporter to remain peaceful and avoid confrontation with the law enforcement agencies.
PTI chief Imran Khan addressed his supporters, directing them to remain calm and not take law in their own hands. He also appealed to the workers from PAT to not resort to violence.
Khan also held Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif responsible for the clashes and blamed government for using poisonous teargas shells against protestors.
“Resign immediately, you can’t run the government anymore, it’s up to you to leave with honour or humiliation,” he warned.
Khan also tweeted claiming that PTI workers were not involved in storming the PTV office.
PTI did not attack PTV and we totally disown this action. It damages our cause. We have always been peaceful & unarmed.

Later, PAT leader Dr.Tahirul Qadri also requested the same to his supporters.
He directed the supporters to not attempt to enter in the Prime Minister House or storm any building.
Qadri added that the supporters should not, at any point, confront the Pakistan Army and follow orders issued by the Pakistan Army.
“Don’t cross any boundaries set by the army,” Qadri said.
The baton-yielding protestors today stormed the head office of Pakistan Television and forced to shut down the transmission of PTV World.
Protestors also entered the Pak Secretariat after breaking the gates.
However, upon request of the deployed Pakistan Army troops, the protestors exited the building without confrontation.
