Transporters ask LEAs to help resolve prevalent impasse

Karachi Transport Action Committee President Muhammad Ashraf Banglori has condemned worst police torture on protesters in Islamabad and urged the government to resolve the issue peacefully.

In a statement on Sunday, he said the interior minister should be suspended over attacks on media persons and protestors raising voice of 180 million people and urged that the government must stop using violence against protestors.

He further urged top leadership of the Pakistan Army to play its due role for resolving issue between government and protestors. He said media had exposed the true faces of corrupt leaders. He accused the politicians of plundering the national treasure.

He urged law enforcement agencies, including, Army, FC, Rangers and police to safeguard people and avoid fighting.
