The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged protests in the city on Sunday after the party workers were tortured by police in their Azadi March in Islamabad on Saturday night when they started march towards the PM House.
However, the protests were also observed in cities including Lahore, Mianwali, Multan, and Jacobabad, Tando Mohammad Khan, Mirpurkhas, Quetta, Noshehro Feroz, Khanewal, Kandhkot, Tando Allahyar, Jhang and other cities.
A strike was being observed in the several cities on the call of PTI including Karachi which is also supported by the MQM.
