Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto on Friday welcomed the demand of Sindh Bachayo Committee for conducting probe into rigging in general elections in Sindh.
“Those rejected by people are ruling Sindh despite destabilising it ruthlessly. I am witness to massive rigging in Sindh. I saw police even closing doors of polling stations where people and polling staff were stamping ballot papers but most violators were police which broke the law massively,” Bhutto said in a statement.
Mumtaz said their supporters and voters were forced to flee by conducting baton charge and firing was also opened at a women polling station in Ratodero in order to rig polls.
He said he would be witness if any probe was launched into the election rigging in Sindh province. I will fully support Sindh Bachayo Committee demand for probe into polls, he said.
