Lahore High Court (LHC) has been moved against non-incorporation of Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) clauses in FIR registered pertaining to Model Town tragedy.
Petitioner Ishtiaq Chaudhry took the plea on Friday that non-incorporation of terrorism clauses in the FIR lodged against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and 21 people is a bid to save the top functionaries.
He requested the court to order inclusion of terrorism clauses a part of FIR in this case.
On the other hand, the Punjab government is of the view that those clauses have been included in FIR which were demanded by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), adding that PAT had not mention terrorism clauses in its demand.
