Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Javed Hashmi has returned to Multan from the party’s 12-day sit-in in Islamabad’s Red Zone.
According to reports, Hashmi left the sit-in on disapproval over Pakistan Army’s intervention to bring an end to the deadlock between PTI and the government.
Speaking to a news channel, Hashmi expressed his desire to resolve the issues politically sans army’s mediation.
He added that military’s rescue in a political situation has disgraced the country.
“We will never be able to hold our heads up after this”, lamented the veteran politician.
