Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that “dialogue, dialogue and only dialogue” is the best way to settle the current political standoff.
Talking to different gatherings in China on Friday, he said that PPP believes in talks and did not go to extremes in politics.
“It is my wish to settle political crises through peaceful means,” he stated.
He added that people staging protest sit-ins have accepted the results of general elections despite alleging that the polls were rigged.
Talking about Pakistan-India relation he said, “We want good relations with India and sincere efforts should be carried out to settle all issues with New Delhi.”
Talking about Afghanistan, he said that NATO troops are withdrawing from Kabul and Pakistan should support its neighbour.
