China’s development will benefit Pakistan: Weidong

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong has said that he held a strong belief that China’s robust and sustained growth will bring more benefits to the China-Pakistan friendly relationship.

Pakistan is bound to benefit from China’s development and the China-Pakistan relationship will also be consolidated and upgraded in the course of China’s development.

Both China and Pakistan are developing countries, shouldering the shared task of development.

As a close and friendly neighbour, China expect a Pakistan that lives up to its full potential, a Pakistan that is stable, strong and prosperous, a Pakistan realizing its own vision and dreams, he made these remarks while speaking at a China-Pakistan Seminar recently held here. He also expressed his satisfaction to the new progress made in the China-Pakistan relationship during the past year.

Ambassador Sun said first are the mutual exchanges in political area, adding, leaders of the two nations have frequently and successfully exchanged visits.

Both sides firmly support each other’s core interests and concerns, further enhancing political cooperation and mutual trust, he said. He said second are mutual benefit and win-win results in economy and added, the bilateral trade volume has reached 7.3 billion US dollars from January to June in 2014, with growth rate of 9.97%.
